Thanksgiving Turkeys Are Everywhere!

If you think your holiday can be a little rough, here’s a great link to a real Thanksgiving Letter someone actually sent out to their family members, “assigning” various dishes to each–thanks to Kara’s great blog for this gem!

Here’s just a small quote from the beginning of the letter:

Now, while I do have quite a sense of humor and joke around all the time, I COULD NOT BE MORE SERIOUS when I am providing you with your Thanksgiving instructions and orders. I am very particular, so please perform your task EXACTLY as I have requested and read your portion very carefully. . .

All I can say is that it made me feel very grateful that I wasn’t related to its author.

It also made me laugh, since I have a relative who was so stressed-out over the family’s plans to choose random numbers for Christmas gift-giving one year that he actually ASSIGNED the numbers to every family member so as to determine who would be shopping for whom. LOL : ) Yes, he’s an accountant–no surprise there!
